A Monarch Beach Mystery (Book 4)
The Tanners are on the move – from the old house to the ranch house to being trapped in an outhouse in this fourth visit to Monarch Beach, the little town on the coast of California, so small it doesn’t rate a dot on the map.
With Teejay moving, a new manager is needed to take care of the rental properties she’s leaving behind. The new gal in charge makes some changes and digs some holes.
She claims to be Little Billie Pickens, former child star of country music, once Artist of the Year. She’s planning a career come back, performing with the local celebrity, Tim Tanner.
Tim says no.
Tim is adamant.
Tim is insistent.
Someone has to give.
Managing a self-storage facility seemed like a good job for recently divorced Marlena Montoya. She’s put her twenty in the military and has no family. A new start in a new place, a scenic fishing port on the California coast.

He leaves as quickly as he appeared, taking her sweatshirt with him. A few days later the same sweatshirt is returned – hanging on the doorknob of her home.
If that’s not enough, she finds cartons abandoned in an empty unit contain drugs – a lot of drugs. Her report to the police department brings in the DEA, who plant an undercover agent on the premises.
The undercover agent is familiar.
She last saw him when he threatened her life and took her sweatshirt.

A Monarch Beach Mystery (Book 1)
Teejay Bishop is a survivor.
That's her own description, having survived the lung cancer that tried to kill her.
Cancer treatment is expensive, costing her everything – her home, her job and her savings – leaving her alive, broke and homeless.
An aunt steps in and gives her a place to live, in exchange for managing the other two rentals on the property. A small salary barely covers the necessities so she tackles online selling, mostly of old books.
Things are looking up.
Until her house is burglarized.
Her car is vandalized.
She’s attacked in the public park in broad daylight.
What is going on?
There are always side effects to cancer treatment, differing from patient to patient. Is the sudden target on her back another strange side effect? Or is it something more, something darker. Something deadly.
Who can she turn to? Her only ally might be the one that proves she’s crazy.
